Knipex over Channellock? : Tools- knipex pliers vs channellock drill reviews 2019 ,I like both brands and use all of them for different scenarios. The Knipex grip better overall, but I use the 430s when working with metal stud, I am an electrician. Honestly you'll probably be happy with either. Channellocks will be cheaper to start with. I have to agree that the Knipex pliers have an advantage in tight places but for a monster grip on heated metal like exhaust bolts, Channellock is the way to go :) Good job, Voted up and useful.

18-07-2010·I just bought a pair of the 10" Knipex Cobra's at Lowes, they were $19.99. I believe the 10" Channellock 430's are about $13. That's quite a bit more expensive. It might not seem like it because it's a low dollar amount, but compare $200 to $130. Nevertheless, I bought the Knipex and am very happy with them :thumbup:
